B-day celebration

We celebrated Lucas' birthday with John's side of the family on christmas...

I created a train pull a part cake for him to enjoy!!!!
We had to try it out before the party to make sure it was edible....

Quick Update

Hi there...I know it has been a while since I last posted. We really don't have much new.

Lucas went to the dr on monday to have his ears checked...he still has fluid in them, so we are back on antibiotic, when we go for his 1 year checkup we are going to re check and then assess the idea of tubes. He is clapping, waving bye bye, we are working on words...sometimes he says bye bye when he waves, mama, dada, baba,

I have updated our picture collection at wietholder.shutterfly.com for those who would rather see a few of them here, I have added some new ones to the blog.

John is finishing his last final for the semester as I am writing this!! I am so proud of him!!! It was a tough semester, but we made it work...it just took alot of adjustment. We have said if we can make it through dental school as a family we can make it through anything.

Most of you have gotten your christmas cards...I wanted to show you a couple of the pics that didn't make the card due to an uncooperating child! He is something....

Our little angel!

Gotta love baby dimples!

11 months and counting

Well Lucas is officially 11 months old, to celebrate this milestone, I thought I would be brave and put up our christmas tree.

So far he has been good...he really likes the lights!! You will notice however, the ornaments start a little bit up the tree and not the at bottom within reach of a certain little man.

I can't believe 11 months have came and gone...last year at this time, I was big as a house and talking about if we were putting up the tree or not because we didn't want to have to take it down with a newborn at home...we did put it up last year and took it down the day I went into labor with Lucas...it is strange how things work out.
